About this policy

This plain-language policy explains how Amores processes information while providing its beta family gift-list and shared-wishlist service. Amores does not sell personal information.

Information Amores processes

Account information includes your display name, verified email when an identity provider supplies one, Firebase identity and provider information, and immutable account identifiers.

Profile information includes claimed profiles and profiles maintained by adult account holders, including names, photos, sizes, preferences, and important dates. A managed profile is information maintained by an adult account holder; it is not automatically a separate Amores or Firebase account.

Wishlist information includes submitted links, descriptions, notes, private uploaded photos, and generated photo-identification or shopping-search results. Amores also processes connection, invitation, relationship-preference, manager, and viewer-grant records needed to control access.

Hosting and API providers naturally process device, browser, network, request, security, and operational log data. If you explicitly submit an in-app bug report, Amores processes your report text, available app context, and any screenshot you choose to include.

Why information is used

Amores uses this information to authenticate accounts; operate profiles, wishlists, connections, invitations, and sharing controls; store and deliver private media; secure and troubleshoot the service; send transactional invitation messages; respond to support; and improve reliability and product behavior.

Current service providers and external sites

Authentication uses Google Firebase Authentication with Google and Apple identity providers. Hosting and operations use Firebase Hosting, Cloud Run, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Tasks, Cloud Logging, and Secret Manager.

Google Gemini processes user-initiated photo or product identification and URL-context extraction. Brave Search supports shopping discovery and URL-metadata fallback. Resend sends production transactional invitation email.

GitHub receives report content only when a user explicitly submits an in-app bug report. Retailers and other external websites may receive a request when Amores validates or previews a submitted link, and receive the usual browser request information when you open an outbound result.

Current business and client practices

Amores does not sell personal information. The current client contains no advertising, payment, affiliate, analytics, or crash-reporting SDK. Product and retailer information may be incomplete or outdated, so confirm important details with the retailer.

Retention and deletion

Live account and profile content is kept while needed to provide the service or until it is deleted or a valid deletion request is completed. Support and security records, aggregate retailer telemetry, provider logs, and backups may follow bounded retention periods separate from live account content.

Self-service account deletion is being prepared separately. During the beta, request deletion by emailing support@amores.app from the email associated with your account. Do not send passwords, Firebase tokens, or private wishlist content by email.

Security and service limits

Amores uses authentication, authorization checks, private storage, managed cloud services, and operational safeguards intended to protect information. No internet service or storage method can guarantee absolute security.
